THE FACES BEHIND OUR SOAP POUCHES
We decided to launch this soap pouch when we heard about an enterprising young seamstress from Haute-Savoie, based in Annemasse (France). Florence and her team of five designers & seamstresses won us over with their way of doing things and their handmade soap pouches. Using a zero waste approach, they made us a natural pouch using hemp. We love it!

100% natural made with pure hemp
The hemp fabric that Florence uses is made from 100% pure, natural hemp stem fibres. Conscious of the state of the environment, Florence decided to import her fabrics from Romania, one of the last countries in Europe to make hemp yarn.
The exterior of the pouch is made from thick, breathable hemp canvas, lined with fine absorbent hemp gauze. The gauze absorbs the moisture from the soap, allowing it to dry.
Handmade pouches
When the various pieces of fabric have been cut, they are sewn together using GOTS-certified organic cotton thread. The finishing touch is a hemp drawstring to close the pouch.
The team uses semi-industrial sewing machines (flatbed lockstitch, and overlock machines). All finishing touches are done by hand. The label inside the pouch is made in France, by an upcoming company called Label Française.
Practical and reusable
Ideal for everyday use, you won’t need to wait for your soap to dry to put it away. Even if it is still damp, you can store it in the pouch. The hemp canvas and gauze will absorb all the water and moisture.
This soap pouch is perfect for holidays, hikes, flights, and any other trips. No need for your old rigid plastic travel cases! The pouch works perfectly, preventing leaks in your toiletry bag. You can also hang it up to your shower wall or put it beside your bath. Your soap will stay clean and dry, always ready to use!
Washing the soap pouch is easy. Simply turn it inside out, scrub it with a bit of warm water, and let it dry.
